Hi,

Plan to travel into Malaysia via Hatyai (Southern Thailand ) .

Any idea what documents is required for clearing the customs from Malaysia ?? And procedure ??

Also how long before the bike needs to be brought back to Thailand ?

Right i have checked with a friend from Surin and checked with another friend who lives in buririum they have taken there bikes into Cambodia ,and i have taken my pickup into cambodia.I had insurance certifcate from my Thai insurance company for to cover me in Cambodia as well,i paid for one months cover in Cambodia, my Thai licence not international which i was surprised they didnt ask for,but i had the ownership blue or green book depending car or bike ,im sorry cannot be more help but i think malay not that much different.but one thing i noticed the Thai police did not want me to go through,but i was allowed .all the best Andy

I shall try to ask my friends in Hatyai about this. Maybe they have crossed into Malaysia as such have some idea about it.
