Hi All
Would like everyones thoughts and advice on which bike is better.
I am coming to thailand and will be bases in Ubon , will use the bike to commute around Ubon and also tour around Isan region.
Due to high cost of larger bikes i am looking at the higher performance of 125-135cc bikes
I have read the info on this site and have thoughts of the following models
Suzuki Skydrive 125ie
Yamaha Spark 135ie
Honda wave 125ie
kawazaki Kaze 130r

Im 177cm tall 68kg
I would like the bike to be capable of at least 100km/h for highway use
Fuel economy not that important filling up is a good chance to strech the legs.

I would like advice and suggestions of what model is more suitable
I will be buying new or near new if good low km used model can be found.
thanks
Matty..

The fastest and most powerful in your selection would be the Yamaha Spark 135i, so my list would be like this.

Yamaha Spark 135i
Kawasaki ZX130
Honda Wave 125i
Suzuki Skydrive 125i

It only problem is that Kawasaki stopped producing the ZX130, and the Suzuki Skydrive 125i is at the end of the list as it is a automatic scooter style motorcycle, while the others have gears. I always say that automatics are nice for city traffic but are less useful for daily commuting.

ok thanx The Yamaha Spark 135i is sounding good.
i guess there will still be some kawazaki kaze130 for sale or second hand. so i think that it stop production is not a problem for me.

Anyone else have thoughts on what model is better???

Wave, of course, has no clutch.

Yamaha's quick in this class, and is available - as is the Kawa - second hand.
