Despite suffering pain as a consequence of a crash in practice on Friday, Thitipong Warakorn was able to complete the Czech Republic GP. It was not easy for the Thai rider, but he showed great character to reach the chequered flag. He will now face the coming races on the calendar knowing that he is capable of strong performances when at full fitness.
"I gritted my teeth and tried to stay on track until the end, and I did. For me it is a source of a little satisfaction, I gained experience and can now be more confident about future races in the World Championship.”
Fausto Gresini “Just like he did yesterday, Warakorn showed that he has a strng character. He overcame considerable pain to finish the race. It is a real credit to him and a good sign for his future in the World Championship.”
