Ratthapark Wilairot's Malaysian Grand Prix essentially lasted just three laps today after a crash saw him drop out of the battle for points on a soaking wet Sepang circuit. It is another disappointing finish to an otherwise promising weekend for the Thai rider, who managed to cross the line in 22nd place – a position well below his expectations before the race.
“There is not much I can say. I was hoping for a good race today but it was basically over after three laps when I crashed. I came back on track in last place and there wasn't much I could do from there. I am not happy and I am sorry to the team. ”
Fausto Gresini “Feem had a chance to score points today but in the end it has slipped through his fingers due to an untimely crash. There always seems to be something that prevents him from picking up the result he is capable of and what we expect from him but I still have confidence in his ability.”
