Personally I would try to contact the official representative for Honda in Malaysia, which is Boon Siew Honda. Boon Siew Honda also sells the CBR1000RR and would therefore have parts more easily available.

You can call Boon Siew Honda from anywhere in Malaysia toll free at number -1800-88-3993 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). If that fails, you can try to contact Honda Big Wing in Bangkok, which also sells the Honda CBR1000RR.

If you're in need of specific USA parts, you can try to contact Red Baron in Bangkok, the telephone number is +66 2-729-4131-2...

I have contacted honda boon siew but they was not responsible for cbr1000rr 2009 as they just started importing cbr 2012 onwards.

Will try to contact the bangkok parts. Thanks!

The same problem, that they started to sell the CBR1000RR from 2012, you probably will face at Honda Big Wing Thailand. Your best bet is to contact Red Baron, they regularly import CBR1000RRs with USA specs into Thailand.

Do you have any unusual noise? It says that not all bikes have it.

You could try Brian at Sumet Cycle in Bangkok he is not a "big" bike dealer but he is American and it is a Honda dealer and he has a CBR 1000 but 2012? one of the first ones in Thailand.

Is there not a Red Baron grey market equivalent in Malaysia who could order parts? That being said Red baron gets their stuff from Japan. Worth an email?
