The 2013 Kawasaki KLR650, a premium off-road capable adventure motorcycle, build in Thailand, the Kawasaki KLR650 sports a fuel tank that carries nearly 23 liters and a fairng that makes it a long-distance runner. The 651cc engine is absolutely reliable with an extremely wide powerband, making the KLR650 an easy ride. With over 177mm of travel at both ends, the Kawasaki KLR650 can soak up any reasonable obstacles in your way, and the seat height is kept a manageable 889mm. |

Premium ??? I dont think so, try Budjet, Basically unchanged for many years, not even upside down forks, this is no premium motorcycle. |

According to several motorcycle critics the Kawasaki is the best single-cylinder 650cc class off-road/adventure motorcycle. Others in the same class are for example the Honda XL650L, Suzuki DR650SE and the Yamaha XT660R. |

The Kawasaki KLR650 is maybe built in Thailand, but it's 100% built bonded-warehouse, which means that even it's built in Thai it's still outside Thailand basically. So, with current production set-up if Kawasaki Thailand would introduce the KLR650 on the Thai market it will still be an imported motorcycle. |
