Anyone have a test ride yet? Or even seen it in the dealers?

Although there are many different cultures, races and religions in the world, there are only 3 types of people; those that squeeze every last drop out of a toothpaste tube, those that don’t and those that think they do.

The EICMA motorshow is opening its doors in Milan today, and it would be a bit funny if they sold the CBR250R already in Thailand. So guess that from next week you should see dealers having them on stock.

I saw the CBR R150 for 72k at the Honda-dealer/mafia in Pattaya, the sales staff did not even know there is a CBR250. She asked to another guy and he confirmed that within 2 weeks the CBR250 will be for sale in Pattaya.

Technically I think the CBR250 is a nice bike, but they should strip all the plastic and make a "naked" touring-bike of it.
Would love that!

[bSix Honda shops over the last few days. 5 dealers had the new CBR150. Wonderful looking bike and a big leep over the CBR150 I have, but none, yes none knew anything of a 250 CBR and even a few flatly denyed it. I'm willing to wait, and my money is on the CBR250 with ABS, but if they should inform there dealers better. If not out in a few months I will get a Dtracker][/b]

It's possible that they won't sell the 250 through all their dealers, it being a rather more specialised (and expensive) model than their main range - hence the dealers are ignorant. I can't imagine all the small dealers would be able to deal with it. May only be available through a select range of shops....we'll have to see over the next few weeks.

CBR 250 sounds like a great bike to me, A single cylinder engine should be fine, Anyone ridden the CRF250 single cylinder motocross bike? It is a sweet engine and is really fast. Im sure some of the same technology is in this new engine.

Apparently some problems with the electrical of the braking system can interfere with the frequency of some worldwide mobile phone networks. Therefore Honda Thailand has delayed they introduction of the Thai CBR250R launch as it's a global model and should be to global standard.

Honda Thailand has confirmed that the Honda CBR250R, with standard brakes, will be available from the second week of December (2010), while the Honda CBR250R, with Electronic C-ABS, will be available from the last week of January (2011). The prices of the two models can be found on our Honda pricelist.
