Ducati is recalling certain Ducati Multistrada 1200 and 1200S motorcycles manufactured from 1 December 2014 to 11 June 2015. In the affected motorcycles, the side-stand may break, due to an incorrect length of the side-stand support tube.

If the side-stand breaks, the motorcycle would fall over, increasing the risk of injury to the rider or other people.

Ducati will contact the owners, and dealers will replace the side-stand support tubes, as necessary, free of charge.

Lucky the side stand is not that big issue. Very unlikely you're going to kill yourself with a broken side stand
