KTM is recalling certain 2016 KTM 250 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition motorcycles. The firm has received reports of the connecting rod cracking. No injuries have been reported.

The connecting rod in the crankshaft assembly can fracture, causing the operator to lose control of the motorcycle which could lead to a crash.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled motorcycles and contact an authorized KTM dealer to schedule a free repair.
