I have motorbiked to Cambodia many times.
You simply need your green book. The tax/insurance must be valid. No charge for entry of bike
You have to check in the bike. It is a 2 stage process. When you exit then it is a 1 stage process.
Ask for specific guidance at the border.
You have to buy a visa(for yourself) before entering Cambodia . Last time it was $37.00. Typically they have a visa shop. With this in place then go to immigration to get yourself in
Do not mention your bike as you check in/out of Cambodia
The 1st time I did -they extracted 400 Baht. I then discovered that motorbikes were free.
Remember you will need a re- entry visa to re -enter Thailand-unless you are on a visa run
Hi Guys, anybody got the specs on what u have to do to ride into Cambodia and back? Also maybe vietnam? Planning a trip and want to get all sorted out, any links would help
