The problem is that when you come to sell the 2015 bike will be viewed as at least year older.
What they are offering is a 5% discount which probably should be more like 10 or 15% or at the very least 0% finance.
If you plan to keep the bike for more than 5 years then it maybe OK. as by then the difference in price between 2015 and 2016 will be small.
Sorry but Kawasaki is letting crumbs drop from the emperor's table.
Still it is the price Kawasaki has to pay for opting for the silly North American model year system and not the more sensible European system where the bike is the current model and its identity year is its year of registration.
