The Lifan LF250-P, is basically an modernized upgrade of the Lifan LF250-B which was and for many still is a perfect 250cc V-twin cruiser.
For performance the Lifan LF250-P engine doesn't perform much better than the LF250-B (which was equipped with a carburetor). The new fuel-injection on the Lifan LF250-P does help with fuel efficiency, but how much is open for more testing.
The last time we spoke with Lifan, they told us that the Lifan LF250-P would be sold at the same price as the previous model (LF250-B).
For reliability, Lifan makes good motorcycle with a very competitive price – most problems in Thailand are with the Lifan dealers – therefore it's important that you find a Lifan dealer which is capable of repairing and servicing your motorcycle....
OK thanks. Any recommendations as to good dealers in the North? I live in Lampang.
Hello Bardolf,
You should also checkout Keeway and ask them when they will introduce the Keeway Blackstar 250i.
The Keeway Blackstar 250i is also a 250cc V-twin cruiser with fuel-injection, and now that Lifan has started to sell the Lifan LF250-P (250cc cruiser with EFI) it would likely not take long before Keeway will follow.
Hi, the Keeway Blackster is already on sale, They have one in a dealers in Dan Chang. The headlight mounting is really ugly.
I have a LF250-B which is three and a half years old and 54,000km om the clock, no real problems never failed to start,
Have enjoyed it loads.
I agree the headlight is damn ugly.. I really don't know what they were thinking about there. But I like the rear discs, I hate changing drum shoes.
Don't suppose you caught the price on it?
About 92,000thb.
Hi, I'm looking at purchasing one of these bikes and was just wondering if anyone has one. If so what they perform like and how reliable they are.
