Hello JJP
Converting a motorcycle from a carburetor to a fuel-injection system is a very big modification and we wouldn't recommend it as it will involve a lot of time and money.
There will be a lot of changes which would have to be undertaken, most notable the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and the wiring set-up. Furthermore, it wouldn't be any significant advantage for your motorcycle. Therefore, please stick to the carburetor setup.
You can do, or ask some mechanic to fine tune your carburetor to one type of fuel, for instance Gasohol 91 – this will help the performance and fuel efficiency of your motorcycle.
I own a Honda Wave 125X and one of my friends, who has a Honda Wave 125i has been trying to convince me to get rid of the carburetor on my motorcycle and go for a fuel-injection system instead.
My question, is this possible, and if so, is it financially feasible?
