I wanted to ask what alternative tyres can I fit on my Honda CB500X?

As far as I know the Honda CB500X comes with Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires, I cannot think of anything why you want to change this tires?

The Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires are excellent dual-sport tires, with a concentration on road riding. They are not really capable of taking the Honda CB500X into rough terrain, but the average unpaved forest road and/or unpaved rural Thai road are well within the capabilities of the Scorpion Trail tires.

If you have any problems with the tires you should first check the air pressure in the tires, Honda advised tire pressure is for the front tire 250kPa (36 psi) and the advised tire pressure for the rear is 290kPa (42 psi).

For checking the tire pressure of your motorcycle you should buy your own tire pressure metering device, the ones you find a the petrol station are as accurate as holding a wet finger in the air to check for wind speed...
