Sure you can buy a motorcycle in Thailand, you only need a real visa in your passport (a visa on arrival doesn't work) and you need a letter from your embassy to state the address you're staying. |

Technically the law is you need a non immigrant visa, however this law is commonly ignored in many local offices which are a law unto themselves. |
