Cool motorcycle adventure riding and potentially wildly interesting, trolling I found this free adventure motorcycle show in Chiang Mai on February 16:
ALASKA MOTORCYCLE NIGHT IN CHIANG MAI, THAILAND TO FEATURE WORLD'S FIRST ADVENTURE RIDERS FROM ALASKA 1938
1938? Two BSA riders made the first ride from Alaska to the lower '48 States and it took them 6 months! Not BMWs, but two BSAs! Now there's a challange, and I'd think between Alaska and the lower '48 in 1938 there weren't any BMW or BSA repair shops. The show is free. The BBQ costs 200 baht.
For the complete description and how to secure a reservation (space is apparently limited) you can find more at:

The one BSA I owned couldn't make it across town without breaking, often wouldn't start. What an incredible accomplishment!
