So impressed with the KTM domination of this event.
So unimpressed with the demise of Honda as a significant force.

110cc scooters cannot perform in the Dakar rally... On the the real off-road "adventure" class Honda has little on offer. In the past Honda was the name in motocross, now the name is synonym with 4th or 5th place...

I would have thought the CRF450R would make a suitable base from which Honda could make a serious attack on this event.

With the final standings it is indeed very disappointing to not see Honda in the the top 5...
1. Cyril Despres, Andorra, KTM (2010 winner)
2. Pal Ullevalseter, Norway, KTM (at 1:02'52"
3. Francisco Lopez, Chile, Aprilia, (at 1:08.34)
4. Helder Rodrigues, Portugal, Yamaha
5. David Fretigne, France, Yamaha
