The Yamaha and Honda Struggle for Market Share
While since early 2008 Honda and Yamaha Thailand seem to be in battle to be the biggest scooter scooter seller, we not see much of Yamaha with 'real' motorcycles. Flash forward to 2015 and the market is completely different, everything Honda is selling on two wheels Yamaha has a competitive model by studying the specification looks better on paper.For 2016 Yamaha is introducing a new addition to its popular MT range. The Yamaha MT-03 is aimed at riders stepping up from smaller classes, as well as those who are new to two wheels but want more than a scooter Yamaha Thailand has introduced the Yamaha M-Slaz which is basically a 150cc member of the MT family.
The Yamaha M-Slaz 150 is powered by a similar engine as the Yamaha YZF-R15, and cost only 89,500 THB. The Yamaha MT03 which is powered by the same engine is the YZF-R3, both engines deliver strong and enjoyable performance together with easy handling and all round versatility.
The natural upright riding position and moderate seat height of both motorcycles promises comfortable urban riding and excellent control.
