Ratthapark Wilairot Wants To Do Well At Misano

The Misano circuit, considered a home track for Team Gresini, is also a local venue of sorts for Thai rider Ratthapark Wilairot. The Moto2 competitor is based in the Rimini Riviera when in Europe and wants a top result at the circuit dedicated to Marco Simoncelli. ‘Feem’ has made progress and very little is lacking for him to take a step up in quality.

“At Brno my feeling with the bike during practice was very goos –definitely better than at the previous race in Indianapolis. Unfortunately, in the race we didn’t have quite the right setup. We should have some new parts for Misano, so for that reason I can’t wait to get out on track. It will be very important to work well right from the start. The weather should be good and the temperature too, which gives me confidence. It is a home race for the team and also a little for me, I know the track and I hope to be able to have a strong race.”
