The All-New 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT
BRP is introducing a new member to its Can-Am Spyder roadster line-up for 2014 with the introduction of the new Can-Am Spyder RT.The new Can-Am Spyder RT has more of everything: more cylinders, more displacement, more power, more torque, and more gears in the transmission. BRP's design team has developed a completely new 1330 Rotax ACE Triple T in-line triple cylinder engine with a new six-speed transmission, made updates to the cooling system for improved aerodynamic efficiency, and added a backrest.
The new liquid-cool triple cylinder engine makes peak power 115 horsepower, at 7,250rpm nad 130.1Nm of torque at just 5,000rpm
The Can-Am Spyder RT will be available in three packages – standard Spyder RT, Spyder RT-S and the Spyder RT Limited in either manual or semi-automatic – the Can-Am Spyder RT does about 406 kilometers on a tank of fuel, and the new ECO mode 'Smart Assist System' can be turned on by the rider to improve fuel economy further by indicating precisely where the shift points should be for maximum fuel efficiency.
