The 2017 Royal Enfield Himalayan - Ready for Thailand

Royal Enfield has announced that the Himalayan, which is Royal Enfields entrance into the Adventure Bike market will get it’s first upgrade.

With the upgrade, the Royal Enfield Himalayan gets ABS, electronic fuel-injection, auto-headlights, new tires and a few more small tweaks and changes.

With the upgrade Royal-Enfield Himalayan adventure bike will be able to become road legal in countries with more restricted exhaust emission figures also in Europe and a few other countries ABS on motorcycles with an engine over 125cc is currently mandatory. The 2017 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be compliant with the tough Euro-4 environmental and safety regulations.

With the much cleaner exhaust emission one of the main obstacles for getting the Himalayan road legal in Thailand also disappeared. So hopefully we can expect the Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure bike somewhere in the beginning of 2017 in the Thai showrooms.
