The 2017 KTM RC390 - Euro 4 Compliant
The major and the most noticeable change that you can see is the exhaust system exiting on the right side instead of an underbelly box. This major change has been adopted mainly to make the KTM RC390 Euro 4 exhaust emission compliant.
Apart from the side-exit exhaust system, KTM have also equipped the KTM RC390 with a fly-by-wire throttle for better throttle control and efficiency. KTM are also offering the new RC390 with a slipper clutch. The fuel-tank of the KTM RC390 has been revised to eliminate fuel evaporation due to heat. There is extra padding on the seat as well for added comfort. A bigger 320mm front disc is also seen on the new KTM RC390.
Engine-wise, the KTM RC390 remains pretty much the same. It still produces a commendable 44 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque.
This new model is already available in Europe and soon it will be launched in Thailand as well. KTM are also said to be working on a new 390 Duke, which will be similar to the aforementioned model minus the fairing. The price is expected to be slightly higher than that of the present model, though, hopefully, not prohibitively so.Tag: KTM RC RC390 390cc Single-Cylinder Liquid-Cooled Sportbike ABS
