The 2014 Ducati Monster 1200 and 1200S
The regular Ducati Monster 1200 makes do with 99kW. Peak torque and power arrive at 7250rpm and 8750rpm. A slipper clutch with lightweight lever activation is standard. Valve clearance checks are now out to 30,000km, with regular checks at 15,000km.
The Ducati Monster's dry weight is a claimed 182kg, wet weight 209kg. Styling features include a reshaped and larger 17.5 liter metal fuel tank, a compact headlamp, transparent master cylinder reservoirs and a new triangulated trellis frame that's twice as stiff as before.
Race brakes, suspension, single-sided swingarm and lightweight alloy-wheels are standard, and there's a new feature, adjustable seat height via three steps (from 745 to 810mm). The wheelbase has been extended by 60mm for enhanced stability and two-up riding comfort.
The Ducati Monster 1200 also gets the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), consisting of eight-level traction control, three-level ABS and three riding modes, urban, touring and sport.
Other Ducati Monster gadgets are Kayaba/Sachs and Ohlins (Monster 1200S) suspension, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires, radial-mount Brembo monoblocs up front, and a TFT display. We not sure what the price in Thailand would be for this two new motorcycles.

We just received the price for the Ducati's .... The Ducati Monster 1200 will cost 899,000 THB and the Ducati Monster 1200S will go for 1,099,000 THB.
