The 2013 Triumph Retro Motorcycles
Underneath the striking visual treatment, you still get the enjoyable air-cooled engine, friendly handling, and exceedingly comfortable ergonomics. The regular two-tone Triumph Bonneville is still available, and the standard Bonneville will cost you 690,000 THB.
The 2013 Triumph Thruxton. The term Café Racer originated in Great Britain, and the tradition lives on in places such as the Ace Cafe London. Using the same basic platform as the Triumph Bonneville and Scrambler, the Triumph Thruxton has an unmistakable sporting slant, thanks to the low handlebars and the solo seat.
The Triumph Thruxton has a faily modest power output by modern superbike standards, going fast on the Triumph Thruxton is all about the skill of the rider, rather than simply his willingness to twist the throttle. Handling is nimble, and the Triumph Thruxton is a seriously fun retro-styled café racer.
The 2013 Triumph Scrambler. Youngsters will have no idea that off-road racing grids used to be filled with British twins sporting up-swept exhaust pipes and wide handlebars. Those days are gone – even though we did threaten to enter the modern Triumph Scrambler in a dirt race over Triumph's objections – but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the styling exercise on the street.
Triumph gave the Scrambler a 270-degree firing order to make it more tractable and give it a unique sound on the street. Ride it out to the starting line at a dirt race and guys in gray beards will nod knowingly.
