The Suzuki Inazuma 250 - The Parallel-Twin Competition
The Suzuki Inazuma 250 is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder, DOHC, 248cc engine. The Inazuma 250 is also equipped with Suzuki's ultra modern DCP-Fi (fuel-injection) system in combination with two throttle bodies.
Suzuki have unveiled the new 250cc at an European motorcycle show last month and, it's currently unclear when the Suzuki Inazuma 250 will be launched in Thailand. With the Inazuma 250, Suzuki has a good opportunity to be a dominant player in the Southeast Asian 250cc market, the newly designed engine is more modern in design than the competition. Suzuki also claims more performance and better fuel efficiency. Also, there have been some 'unconfirmed' reports that Suzuki is aiming to undercut both the Kawasaki Ninja 250R and the Honda CBR250R with the Inazuma’s pricing. If the rumors are correct, we can expect the Suzuki Inazuma 250 to be a motorcycle that will sell very well.
