The 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Concept Disappointing
Not so long ago Suzuki revealed what they are calling a 'Concept' Suzuki GSX-R1000, with the firm revealing that the motorcycle is completely new build from the ground up.But for all the new technology and engineering wrapped up in the new Suzuki GSX-R1000 shown to the press, it was the conservative styling that was the main talking point amongst the internet discussion boards., with many feeling a little disappointed that it didn't look different enough.
For instance a owner of a Suzuki GSX-R1000 K9 (2009 model) wrote 'It is a bit of a disappointment to be honest as I think it should have been something completely different. That color-scheme doesn't help as it looks like the current model. I do like it and I would still have one but the styling should have changed in the same way Yamaha did with the YZF-R1.'
Another owner of a Suzuki GSX-R1000 agrees: 'To design a completely new motorcycle, but then make it look so similar to the old model is a bit disappointing. They should have changed it a lot more.
