The K&N oil filter is not reusable, but it does have its own performance advantages over the stock oil filter. It features thick-wall construction and a strong inner core. A modern synthetic-blend filter media catches more dirt and exceeds OEM specs. It has a 17mm nut welded to the end for installation (of course depends on your motorcycle) and removal using common hand tools. That same nut comes pre-drilled for safety wire and the filter canister is optionally available for some motorcycles.
