The New Harley-Davidson Roadster - A Real Riders Bike
ABS is now standard, working with a pair of floating front discs. A low handlebar and mid-mount foot controls wrap the rider around the 12.5 liter fuel tank, while the front and rear clipped mudguard join a host of cosmetic modifications on the 263 kilograms machine. 'The Roadster is a mash-up of styling genres, but the intent was to build a rider's motorcycle, a Harley-Davidson Sportster that's lean and powerful and connects the rider to the road,' said the Harley-Davidson director of styling.
While power figures aren't currently available, despite meeting current emission regulations, torque is slightly up on the Roadster, compared to other models in the range that share the 1202cc air-cooled, five-speed V-twin engine: 97Nm at 4250rpm, compared to 96Nm at 3500rpm in the Harley Forty-Eight for instance.
The motorcycle will be available later this year, and prices will soon be announced by the official Thai Harley-Davidson dealer.Tag: Harley-Davidson Roadster Sportster 1200cc V-Twin Air-Cooled ABS Classic Performance
