Motorcycle Satellite Navigation

No much bolt-on modifications for our motorcycles are so controversial than satellite navigation – people generally either love the GPS satellite navigation, or they hate it like poison.

It's taken a while for the systems to really adapt to be useful on motorcycles, but the latest motorcycle-specific models are pretty sorted.

Most motorcycle specific satellite navigation have secure mounts that work well on our motorcycle's handlebars, and controls that you can still operate with motorcycle gloves on.
The Garmin Zumo is a popular model, and the Garmin is available direct from the showroom of some big bike manufacturers. BMW's Motorrad Navigator works excellent, but the eye-watering sat-nav from the German manufacturer is also one of the most expensive satellite navigation systems.

And not forget that lots of weekend tourers are using the build-in GPS of there smartphones, as a forum user (Chang Noi) showed us, and it works not bad with the right “free” software.
