2018 MotoGP in Thailand and more Information
The Thai MotoGP coming to Buriram, It’s a northeast province of Thailand not really know to much people outside Thailand. It’s not even a big or central located location in Thailand, bordering the Cambodian border it is one of the poorest provinces of Thailand.
A few days ago the Thai Sports Authority of Thailand announced that they reached an agreement with Dorma about staging the MotoGP for the next 3 years. Starting next year and it will happen likely in the weekend of 5 to 7 October at the new Buriram International Circuit.
While Thailand has nobody competing in the top MotoGP race, one rider is likely to be the next Thai hero Nakarin Atiratphuvapat, riding for Honda Asia in the Moto3 championship will be the growth pleasure for the spectators.
It’s also very likely that Dorma will push the Honda Asia team to equip Nakarin Atiratphuvapat with a very competitive bike… MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 is about growth pleasing a Thai rider that is competitive in the Moto3 will make more money…
The Buriram track that is officially called the Chang International Circuit Burriram is in favor of the fast bikes but also a high percentage of braking and mid-corner performance will come into play. One MotoGP racer insider who has checked the Chang International Circuit Buriram said it would be very challenging and the design of the race track was well designed.
According to our records the Chang International Circuit Buriram was designed by world famous race track designer Hermann Tilke. Mr. Hermann Tilke has until now designed more than 25 world famous race tracks that are hosting Formula 1 racing, WSBK or/and MotoGP races. Hermann Tilke currently is 62 years old and lives in Olpe, Germany and is still and active racing driver and engineer… he also is said to design tweaks for previous developed race tracks.
