The Kawasaki Pulsar 200NS - Launched in Indonesia
The Kawasaki Pulsar 200NS is exported as a completely built-up unit (CBU) to Indonesia from the manufacturing plant in Chakan, India. The Indonesian version of the Pulsar 200NS gets the traditional 199,5cc carburetor engine instead of the rumored fuel-injection system. This engine develops 23.5 horsepower and 18.3 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The fuel tank pad and the new engine shade on the Kawasaki Pulsar 200NS look like clever additions, but the body decals that Bajaj have brought to beautify the product slightly shed the hooligan appeal of the 200cc class motorcycle.
The Kawasaki Pulsar 200NS will compete with the Yamaha Vixion and the Suzuki Inazuma in the Indonesian market. The big question is, will this model also come to Thailand to compete with the Honda CBR250Ri.
