Husqvarna Becomes a High-Tech Motorcycle Company
Husqvarna have confirmed the motorcycle will have ride-by-wire throttle with three different riding modes, it will get the latest Bosch 9.1 MP ABS system and an accessory plug-in dongle will unlock Supermoto ABS which will allow rear wheel lock-up but keep the front wheel under electronic control.
The Husqvarna 701 Supermoto motorcycle will also be getting a slipper clutch to help with corner entry control and will be getting new 48mm diameter WP forks with 215mm of suspension travel, along with a WP shock with 250 of travel.
The final production version of the Husqvarna 701 Supermoto will be at the Milan motorcycle show this in a few months.
Husqvarna, now under the ownership of KTM, is aiming to make the brand a technically advanced company and inteds to embrace the history and racing innovation Husqvarna was known for in the '50s and '60s.
