Casey Stoner Still Testing for Honda Racing Company
Honda and Casey Stoner has a successful partnership that saw the Australian rider win a title for the Japanese manufacturer in 2011. After Casey Stoner retired at the end of the 2012 season, the rider hasn't really had too much saddle time. That changed a little last year with Casey Stoner carrying out private tests for the Honda team, the most recent of which was held at Motegi last October.Honda have now declared that this partnership will continue in the 2015 season, with Casey Stoner testing for the team at Sepang too.
Casey Stoner will also test for Honda once more during the 2015 season, but the date and venue for that test haven't been declared yet. Honda have however stated that the reason they want Casey Stoner testing for them is because the 'feedback he gives HRC is invaluable and we are fortunate to have a test rider capable to push the Honda RC213V to its limits.'
