Good quality motorcycle boots that you can wear all day are the basis for your riding gear. You can work around most other issues but if your feet are unhappy, you can expect long days. Constructed with full-grain leather uppers, the Alpinestars Gran Torino GTX hides myriad features that you'll probably never even notice until you need them. After reading the info I had to grab one and check out the integrated moulded shin plate and the anodozed aluminum protector on the outer ankle. I had never even noticed them! I did know about the Gore-Tex liner and the removable inner sole, but the outer soles are also replacable. I thought they were just comfortable boots.
