2017 Suzuki GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 Unveiled
Suzuki has unveiled two new small capacity motorcycles, the fully faired Suzuki GSX-R150 and the naked-bike GSX-S150. The pair gets a liquid-cooled and electric fuel-injected 150cc single-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The all-new 150cc, DOHC 4-valve, engine puts out 19.17 horsepower and 14Nm of torque. That makes these motorcycles more powerful than the Thai Suzuki Raider 150.
The dimensions of the motorcycles are 1975mm length and 670mm wide and 1070mm high, with a wheelbase of 1300mm. The seat height is relative low at 785mm. It’s claimed that the fully faired GSX-R150 weighs only 126 kilograms, which is 12 kilograms lighter than the Honda CBR150R.
The design of the Suzuki GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 is close to what you find on the company’s bigger motorcycles with a bit of MotoGP look. Unfortunately, there was no comment from Suzuki Thailand if one or both of this motorcycle will come to Thailand.
