It appears that Ducati will be producing a 2015 Ducati Panigale 1299, with logically a 1299cc engine in order to take advantage of new rules in the world superbike series.The Ducati Panigale 1299 accidentally broke cover when a photo was posted on Facebook. The picture of the Ducati Panigale 1299 was from a recent dealer meeting, showed the new model's 1299 badge in the background.
This marketing blunder may work out for the best, as it generated plenty of press, and a few laughs. Life is more fun when it's unexpected.
