The 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 - Quick Review

Suzuki, with the goal of creating a 'comfortable adventure tourer,' the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer recently redesigned the popular Suzuki V-Strom 650. The updated Suzuki V-Strom 650 features a new powerplant – though still a liquid-cooled DOHC V-twin – for increased torque in the low- and mid-range, plus a high-rpm horsepower boost.

The bottom five ratios have been tightened up for increased performance, leaving 6th gear as an overdrive. Ergonomically, there is a new fairing with more weather protection, an 3-step adjustable windscreen.
Suzuki have selected 43mm adjustable telescopic, coil spring, oil damped front forks and link type, coil spring, oil damped single rear shock with remote pre-load adjuster for quick and easy adjustments without tools for optimum control and stability when carrying different loads.

The seat height of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 is 835mm and with three seats options available so the rider can personalize the Suzuki V-Strom 650 for more comfort. The Suzuki V-Strom 650 (DL650) is officially available from Suzuki Thailand (import from Japan) for 450,000 THB.
