The 2014 Honda CBR650F - Seriously Not Dull

While the Honda CBR650F is also powered by an in-line four, the all-new 2014 Honda CBR650F is anything but dull. Emanating all that is sporty, its 649cc, liquid-cooled engine adds a new spot in Honda Thailand's line-up, fitting nicely between the larger Honda CBR1000RR and the smaller 471cc found on the Honda CBR500R, the Honda CBR650F even fits right in the middle when it comes to compression ratio, the CBR1000RR has a compression ratio of 12.3:1, the CBR650 has 11.4:1, and the Honda CBR500R has 10.7:1.

The Honda CBR650F has a wider wheelbase, almost 110mm, plus -0.2º of rake, and about 3mm of extra trail, weighing down the newcomer by 23 kilograms...
The Honda CBR650F, while matching the Honda CBR600RR in many categories with 320mm front discs and a 240mm rear hydraulic disc, is a step down in terms of dynamic performance, accentuated by the clip-on handlebars that add comfort for longer rides paired with the downward-slanted lower seat at 810mm.

With the CBR600RR-inspired front cowl to cut the wind blast, the Honda CBR650F features a 4-into-1 exhaust system, a twin-spar steel frame, and a 17 liters fuel tank. The Honda CBR650F is in Thailand officially only available in red, and the CBR650F can be yours for 300,000 THB (without registration fee 1500 THB and first class insurance which will cost you about 13,000 THB)
