Since my girl friend and I together weigh less than 120 kg., is a 115cc bike powerful enough to carry us both, plus 10 kg. of groceries?

Most Thai motorcycles / scooters are made to pull/push a maximum load of 170 to 200kg. So I believe you're well in the safe zone. Out on the road you can see sometimes little bike being punished with 2 big foreigners or with a amazing group of Thai which surely weight more then the factories intended maximum payload... Still this little bikes do well and keep on going...

Mr praglen,

We load our Yamaha Fino (115 cc) many times with more weight it no problem
