What is for the 2016 season the fastest 2016 motorcycle? In 2015 I think it was the Yamaha M1

It's a bit early in the season to say indefinitely which MotoGP bike is the fastest, also do you mean the fastest top speed or the overall speed (which is very dependable in the circuit, weather conditions and probably a few more).

Currently with only two races done the Ducati GP16 has proven the fastest as it was recorded to do the fastest-ever recorded speed from a MotoGP bike down the Losail straight during warm-up at Qatar. When asked about the grunt of hius Ducati Desmosedici following his second-place finish, with a smile Andrea Dovizioso said: Ducati engineer, about that, they are crazy….
