The news this morning reads "Foreign tourists face strict curbs on driving into Thailand" and the description is not getting better "Foreign tourists will be banned from driving motorcycles and motor homes into Thailand as part of measures to control an influx of foreign vehicles onto Thai roads, particularly in the North."

So motorcycles with foreign license plates entering Thailand will have problems in the future. I know a few people who would probably now not be happy

It seems that Thai government is planning to change the rules for foreign vehicles to enter Thailand. For now we have only an article in the Bangkok Post talking about it… so lets wait until more information is available...

If I'm correct the article was posted on the Bangkok Post website on 15 March 2016, the link is www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/897344/foreign-tourists-face-strict-curbs-on-driving-into-thailand
