The Thai Customs Department yesterday (25 August 2015) held an auction for 535 confiscated vehicles - 397 cars and 138 motorcycles - from various cases. Among those getting high bids were a BMW motorcycle R1600 GT model got a 827,000 THB bid.

It's amazing to hear that people still try to get motorcycles illegally into Thailand

That must be a very bad experience for somebody, a BMW 1600 GT cost in Thailand new around 1.5 million THB, and to get that taken away by the government is not a small thing.
