So what then would be the conclusion for someone looking to buy something within 2013 or Jan 2014? From what i read here I don't see yamaha or suzuki coming out with anything at a similar price point as kawasaki and honda. is there any point in waiting till feb?

if i placed an order for the honda cbr650f today would it seriously not be delivered till June?

do i just get the ninja650?

I'd be inclined to visit the nearest Big Wing dealer and get the info you want 'from the horses mouth'.
Already there seems to be inconsistencies re availability times.

If the wait is too long for you then the Kawasaki is a good bike!

just purchased the CBR650F - i could potentially get it as early as june 2014 but it will most likely happen in july 2014. the bike will only be available to test drive in Feb (at least in Bangkok - they didnt have any information about other locations).

and so i settle in for the loonnnnng wait.

FACT......HONDA CBR650F will be in the showroom for test rides and inspection in February. If you pre-order, 5,000 baht
fully refundable, today, your bike will be ready for pick-up in July-August, but could be sooner as 30% of depositors
cancel their orders. Thus, you could get bike as soon as June, but not guaranteed.
I placed my order last week, and they gave me a delivery date of July 30th.
Yes, over the phone is a waste of time as the guys answering the phones don't speak very good English.
You need to go there, or just understand this post!! Ride safely!!
