For the Nolan N104 you say that the helmet is P/J approved, what is that?

P = Protective (if the helmet has a protective lower face cover)
J = Jet (if the helmet does not have a lower face cover)

First, thanks to Silenzo for explaining.

What P/J approved basically means is that the Nolan N-104 is both approved as full-face and open-face motorcycle helmet.

Most flip-up or modular helmets from other manufacturers are only approved as open-face helmet.
