Is Yamaha going to join the challenge for the best 250cc motorcycle, rumors from around the world would suggest that Yamaha Motor is building a Yamaha YZF R25.

A 250cc motorcycle which supposedly has to compete in the same class as the Kawasaki Ninja 250R, the 250cc market got of course a bit bigger after the ASEAN countries selected 250cc for the maximum low combustion engine rule.

The question is now, when will this Yamaha YZF R20 go on sales....

There are two so called pictures of the YZF-R25 on the web.

- a photoshopped YZF-R125 with double disks front (oliepijl.nl)
- a YZF-R6 with photoshopped fairing:

I very much hope this bike will be for sale soon !

I think when the demand is low or second hand already, because the bile really is amazing and if it is already tested by the professionals it will take long to make it onsale. Honda CBR

Anybody has a idea when Yamaha will introduce the Yamaha YZF-R25, or any other 250cc motorcycle in Thailand?

Lets hope it's better than the CBR250 and the Ninja 250, both of which are awful, awful bikes.
I hope it's gets the horsepower it needs.
I'm tired of overtaking CBR/Ninja riders on any trip outside of Bangkok (in a Honda Jazz) lol

I do not believe the Yamaha YZF-R25 is 'currently' available in Thailand.

The talk about the 250cc Yamaha sportsbike has fired up again after a video from Valentino Rossi riding a Yamaha YZF-R25 was found on Youtube.

The 250cc Yamaha YZF-R25 was also shown on the 43rd Tokyo Motor show in Japan. So we can assume the rumors are no rumors anymore, the 250cc Yamaha sportsbike is from now on reality.... Will it come to Thailand... that is a complete other question, but it would be very likely....
