I am looking for new front brake shoes for an Suzuki GSX-R600 K5. I called Suzuki Thailand, the big bike dealer on Phaholyothin road, and they sell no parts for the GSX-R600

Anybody have an idea where I can find brake shoes for my GSX-R600 K5???

I'm pretty sure you not talked to any person with some knowledge regarding Suzuki parts, the 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600 (K5) front brake pads are identical to the brake pads used on the Suzuki GSX-R1000 and Suzuki GSXR1300 Hayabusa.

Also if you live closer to a Kawasaki big-bike dealer you can also buy brake pads for the Kawasaki Z1000 or the Kawasaki ZX10R (they come actually from the same factory).

You can of course also try independent motorcycle shops like Red Baron in Bangkok who, as I can remember, a few aftermarket brake shoes from alternative brands...
