Some more information regarding the Honda DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) gearbox.

During the Bangkok Motorbike Festival 2012 at CentralWorld in Bangkok you will see that Honda Thailand has the brand new 2012 Honda CBR1000RR on display.
Outside of the chassis changes to the 2012 Honda Fireblade are a host of other tweaks. The CBR1000RR gets a new digital dash that gets a gear indicator. Also on the dash is a lap timer, fuel consumption and gauges and the ability to change the way the bar-read rev counter is displayed – there's even a backwards option where it travels from right to left, down the dial instead of up the values conventionally.
The 2012 Honda CBR1000RR also gets an assisted slipper clutch and a second generation Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD).
An option on the CBR1000RR is the combined ABS system, which costs a good amount more than the non-ABS version of the Honda 1-liter sportsbike.
Finally there's the revised fuel injection settings, which have smoothed out the power delivery at smaller throttle openings.
You can see the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR at CentralWorld from the 1 February until 5 February, of course you can see much more new motorcycles and even buy some gear or accessories... Bangkok Motorbike Festival 2012
