Honda on Tuesday announced the shutdown of its plant that produces motorcycles in Bangkok due to increasing water level in the Thai capital. Honda's Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur, said that it would halt production at its plant temporarily due to a shortage of parts caused by flooding in Thailand.

The Keihin factory in Lamphun has also stopped production because of the flood
