Possible Hyosung Motor Take-Over

Two Indian manufacturers in the race to takeover Korean Hyosung Motors, according to our information the Hero Group and Mahindra 2 Wheelers are in negotiations to take over the Korean motorcycle manufacturer.

Both the Hero Group and Mahindra 2 Wheelers involved in this deal have got the money needed for such an enormous takeover but not the technology – Hero recently ended its long association with Honda – and could benefit greatly if the deal comes through.
Hyosung can also provide the two Indian manufacturers an international distribution network. Also, with the Hyosung 250cc and 650cc motorcycle models currently in production, both Indian companies will get products available to compete against the current market leader. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is very popular in India and Southeast Asia, the V-twin 250cc motorcycles from Hyosung can change that.

Worldwide, Hyosung Motor is known as a manufacturer of good value motorcycles, sold in almost all countries around the world. Since 1978 Hyosung Motors has been devoted to the motorcycle industry. Hyosung Motors is a full line manufacturer with motorcycles ranging from 50cc to 650cc as well as luxury scooters and ATVs.
