Play Games or Built Scale Models During the Holiday Season
If you’re at a loss to what to do or give this upcoming holiday season, we would suggest you borrow your child’s Xbox One or Playstation 4 and play the Ride 2 game, or build a scale model of your favorite motorcycle...
Ride 2 is a video game with more than 200 playable ‘real-world’ motorcycles.
Sure, it’s probably the only place you or I would be able to ride a supercharged Kawasaki H2R, but we like playing it for the old, modorn classics included in the game. This include some corkers, such as the Aprilia RS250 and RS125 from the ‘90s, Bimota’s Tesi 1D and V-Due, the Cagiva Mito 125, Ducati 916, Honda’s NS400R of 1985, RC30 and RC45, Kawasaki’s KR1-S or 1990 and ZXR750 of 1989, Suzuki’s RGV250, RG500, SRAD and TL1000R and Yamaha’s OW-01, RZ/D500R, a few TZRs and of course the Yamaha YZF-R6.
Yes, it’s not real; but then neither is the gravel rash!
Christmas is coming so should you be suffering from any major withdrawal symptoms having finished all your restorations and rebuilds, try a building a small scale model from Tamiya…
These classic kits come in all shapes, sizes and models, with the 1:12 series featuring anything from Honda’s CB750F, Ducati’s 888 racer a Kawasaki ZX-12R, Honda RC166 racer, Yamaha XV1000 Virago, 500cc Grand-Prix race bikes and Suzuki’s Katana and Yamaha YZF-R1 flavors – including the modern Kawasaki H2R.
